each Indonesian Traditional Musical Instrument. Indonesia is a country
which has a lot of cultures and so diverse moreover Indonesia is 4th densely populated country. and country of islands.
By
its diversity status Indonesia has a lot of cultures and especially on
traditional. But this time we are only going to scrutinize the cultural
wealth of Indonesia .
10 INDONESIAN TRADITIONAL MUSICAL INSTRUMENT.
1. SERUNE KALEE. ( Saweroonawe Kaalah )
This
musical instrument comes from Aceh which is one of Indonesian Province.
This instrument uses the Aerofon sound. To use this instrument is
simply by blowing it, same as a common flute and the hole on Serune
Kalee is used to control the tones with our firngers.
2. ANGKLUNG. ( Angkloong )
Probably
one of the most popular one, Angklung is a multi-tonal instrument. This
kind of instrument mostly flourishing and living in west part of Java (
a province in Java island and located in the west side ). To use this
instrument is kind of easy , by only shaking it you're gonna have the
best experience on listening through the beautiful-sounded sound.
3.Saluang. ( Saalooaang )
The
Instrument comes from West Sumatra and using the aerofon sound too. To
use this Instrument is simply by blowing it up and the hole is used to
control the tones where fingers as the holder.
4.Bedug. ( Bawedoog )
This
instrument reminds me of the Arabian version of this instrument. Bedug
is a traditional instrument which physically look like Gendang, just the
se is absolutely bigger. Bedug sometimes be used for religion ritualism
or political. This instrument can be seen on several places/areas in
Indonesia, especially at Mosques.
5. Gambus. ( Gaamboos )
Gambus
is an Instrument comes from Riau ( Sumatra ) which has tone's type
kordofon and functionalized by plucking the strings with fingers and
play the tones with fingers.
6.GAMELAN. ( Gaamawelaahn )
Type of ensemble instrument contains : Gambang, Gong, Gendang, Bonang, etc. Gamelan is an Instrument comes from Java. But can be seen in Madura, Bali, Lombok.
7. Gambus Jambi. ( Gaamboos Jahmbeeh )
According
to its name this Instrument is basically type of Gambus but this one
comes from Jambi ( Sumatra ) almost all the ways to use it is the same
with a common Gambus, Probably the design makes them different.
8. Calung. ( chaaloong )
Calung
is a prototype Instrument of Angklung . If Angklung is being played by
shaking it, Calung is being played by hit the rod / slats of bamboo tube
segment. Calung also comes from West Java.
9. Accordion.
Comes from South Sumatra ( Sumatra Selatan ) which is Aerofon type. To use this instrument easily just use our own hands, on the first hand is used as sound's wave controller, while the other hand is used to control the tones.
10. Kacapi ( kachapeeh)
Last but not least is Kecapi. Kecapi is a stringed instrument which comes from West Java.
